Stop/Target Geometry: A Trading Plan for 15 Scanner Longs

Scanner notes · 5 October 2026

One geometry, fifteen tickers.

A stop-and-target plan for the longs a scanner ranked together. The levels are the printed band, stop, and first target. The ranking is reward divided by risk, not a forecast.

Levels as pasted from the scanner. Confirm the live quote before any order. Charts open on TradingView.

Not investment advice. This page is an educational layout of scanner levels. It is not a solicitation, a recommendation, or a prediction that any target will print. Trading stocks can lose the entire amount risked, and more if you use leverage. The 87% figure is one analogue sample of 45, not a live win rate. Past structure does not repeat on a schedule. Verify every price, halt, and corporate action yourself.

How to read this

Every name in the paste was a long, confidence 100, with a stop about 4.3% to 4.8% under the mark and a first target about 11% to 13% above it. That is one template. At the quoted mark, BTGO is the only name that breaks out of the cluster, at 2.75R. The rest sit near 2.67R. SMMT is last at 2.44R.

A fill at the bottom of the band is a different trade from a fill at the mark. Wide bands such as COHR, SG, and SMMT only look exceptional if the low fills. At the mark they are average to worst. Do not chase above the top of the band.

Rules that apply to every name

1
Limit in the lower half of the band. The mark is the worst fill still inside the idea. Above the mark, cancel.
2
The printed stop is the invalidation. Stop-market. It does not get widened. A gap through it is an exit at the open.
3
Scale at +1R, then at T1. Sell about a third at one times the risk. Sell half of what remains at the printed target. The rest is a runner to the 1.618 extension of the mark-to-T1 leg, stop moved to breakeven after T1.
4
Size from the stop. Shares equal the dollars you will lose, divided by entry minus stop. The share counts below assume a $500 loss from the mark. Change the dollars, not the stop.
5
Two open names, not two of the same beta. Crypto infrastructure is one bet: BTGO, MARA, CLSK, MSTR, IOND. Hardware and semis are the other: MXL, SMTC, VICR, COHR, DELL, FPS.
6
Time stop. If price has not reached +1R in three to five sessions, scratch. A 4.5% stop is inside a normal day on the high-beta names.

The book, ranked at the mark

Green is the cleanest geometry. Amber needs a reclaim or a low fill. Red had already left the stop on published 5 October closes and needs a new structure, not this one.

Share counts are for a $500 loss if filled at the mark and stopped at the printed stop. A better fill in the band means fewer dollars of risk per share, so either cut the share count or keep the dollar risk fixed. Round lots and borrow availability are your problem, not the table’s.

Work first

Best mark geometry in the paste, and the only name with a sample attached: analogue n=45, 87% win rate, Fibonacci, stop about 4.8%. A 95% interval on 45 trials is roughly 74% to 94%. Size closer to a coin-flip than to 87%.

At 78.12 this is the same 2.67R trade as the pack. At 75.90 it is 8R, because the band is wide relative to the stop. Limit the lower half only.
