Holiday Trade Watch
Grok, What’s Swinging?
End of December is weird trading. Volume thins out, price moves get jumpy, and names that have been dead suddenly wake up for no obvious reason. Sometimes that creates quick momentum. Sometimes it’s just noise.
Below are a few tickers people have been watching lately for short-term swings. This isn’t advice—just market chatter and pattern-watching. Always check the chart yourself.
$RGTI – Rigetti Computing
Quantum names have been popping up again. RGTI’s been tightening up after a pullback, which is the kind of thing momentum traders tend to keep an eye on. If volume shows up, it tends to move fast. If it doesn’t, nothing happens.
$BBAI – BigBear.ai
Still riding the AI narrative. It’s been hanging around support and getting mentioned again in trader circles. This is one of those names that either catches a bid quickly or goes right back to sleep.
$ONDS – Ondas Holdings
Smaller, noisier, and more volatile. Recently showed signs of a bounce after getting hit. These types of stocks don’t need much volume to move—but that cuts both ways.
$OPEN – Opendoor
Not a meme name, but still active. After pullbacks, it sometimes attracts short-term traders looking for a relief move. Macro still matters here, but it can swing on sentiment alone.
A Quick Reality Check
Holiday trading can be thin and unpredictable. Moves can happen fast, but they can also fail just as fast. If nothing sets up cleanly, doing nothing is usually the right trade.
This is just what’s being watched, not what should be traded.
